Inventions
Intentions:
This license is intended to transfer all intellectual rights of each contributor to the initial contributor, to protect the property of the Initial Contributor, and to protect reasonably protect each Contributor
Definitions:
Invention: The work in progress, submitted from an Initial Contributor, including but not limited to: Inventions, Concepts, improvements, and other new ideas.
Initial Contributor: The person or entity who is identified as the first poster, or the originator of the idea.
Contributor: Any individual who is a member of Neo Menlo community and has accepted this liscense agreement. Contributors are those who, view the concept, submit subsequent work, or plans to submit subsequent work.
Contribution: Any feedback about the Invention. This includes, but is not limited to: images, blueprints, concepts, ideas, slogans, descriptions, depictions, and prototypes that pertain to an Initial Contribution.
Grant of Rights:
The Initial Contributor grants each Contributor a worldwide, royalty-free, nontransferable, exclusive license to the extent necessary to allow the right to make, use, make derivative works, and suggestions to only the Initial Contributor and other Contributors.
Each contributor grants other Contributors, as well as the Initial Contributor, the worldwide, royalty-free, non transferable license
On the condition that:
- Each Contributor represents and warrants that it has all right, title and interest in the copyrights contained in each contribution, and has the right to grant the copyright licenses set forth in this License.
- Each contribution shall not be disclosed to any individual or entity that has not accepted this license.
- Initial Contributors must have the right to grant the copyright licenses set forth in this license, and may not submit Initial Contributions that infringe an existing intelectual property.
Trademarks:
This license allows the use of Neo Menlo's Trademarks, but only to be included in the submission of various contributions to the Invention as an identification, such as watermarks. Any contributions containing NeoMenlo's trademarks may not be disclosed to any entity who has not accepted this liscense agreement. If a trademark that was included in a contribution is removed, another must be included in the derivitative contribution.
When not in a contribution, the any member may use NeoMenlo trademarks to copy, distribute, perform, and make derivitative works, according to the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 United, on the condition that whoever chooses to do so attributes the trademark to NeoMenlo. On the internet it is required that this attribution is in the form of a link to 'http:\\neomenlo.org'. However, in other forms of media, it is allowed to attribute the trademark using the name 'NeoMenlo', or 'NeoMenlo.org'.
